Hello Souder Elementary Families,

A new school year always brings a sense of excitement, fresh opportunities, and new beginnings. I hope your family had a wonderful summer, and I am excited for all that lies ahead. This school year is especially meaningful to me, as I have the privilege of joining the Souder Elementary community as your Assistant Principal.

My name is Shenique Harris Maru, and I am honored to serve in this role. I am passionate about building strong relationships with students, families, and staff because I believe those partnerships are the foundation of student success. I also believe that when teachers are supported and empowered, students thrive. My goal is to help create a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
